Sooner Born & Sooner Bred!

Sooner born and Sooner bred in the city of Lawton, OK back in the dark ages of 1972. Shortly there after we moved to Tulsa, which I still claim as my real hometown. For some reason we moved back to Lawton in 1982 after taking a "vacation" there, I wouldn't recommend it. I graduated Lawton High in 1991 and took off for college that summer.

Although I'm Sooner born and Sooner bred, I received my degree from Oklahoma State University Okmulgee, because I couldn't afford OU. I lived a couple of more years in T-town while in school for Graphic Design. After graduating in 1994 I became the art director at Sparlin Advertising till 2001. During this time, I was the recipient of several ADDY® Awards from the Joplin Area Advertising Federation recognizing excellence in print media. I supervised many different designers, and was responsible for the agency's highest profile and most profitable clients during those years, and got to travel from one end of this country to the other.

When given the opportunity to expand my creative wings with an up and coming agency, I made the leap to Sunrise in the summer of 2001. I have continued my award winning track record, diversifying into areas beyond print. After 11 years of helping Sunrise Media Group become one of the top agencies in Joplin and winning the small business of the year and Missouri Governors Award for advertising I have moved on to expand my wings even more. I have recently become the Marketing Assistant for ProSys Innovative Packaging Equipment in Webb City.

I have served as President of the Joplin Area Advertising Federation from 2000-2003, and have been an integral part of the organization for nearly ten years.

I reside in Joplin with my lovely wife Aimee and beautiful and very intelligent daughters, Scout and Reese.
